The "B" in B & E stands for Bello — a family that expanded onto this land in 1969 and planted its first wine grapes in 1989. For over three decades, Jerry and Patti Bello have farmed these 58 acres the old-fashioned way: by hand, by season, and by instinct built over a lifetime on this particular piece of Paso Robles.
Patti is both grower and winemaker. She decides when the fruit is ready, she oversees every barrel, and she signs off on every blend. The 1,200 cases produced each year are not a volume target — they are simply what the estate gives, when the estate is ready.
The tasting room is on the working ranch. The barrel room is steps from the vine rows. Nothing here is imported or invented — what you taste in the glass is what grew on this ground, right here on Creston Road.
